10 EASY SUMMER MEALS THAT WON’T HEAT UP THE KITCHEN

With the heat index already exceeding 100 degrees in the New Orleans area, the last thing I want to do in the evenings is turn on my oven! It’s just too darn hot for that! To keep the heat out of our kitchen during the summer, I have been utilizing my crockpot, grill, and stovetop as much as possible. Here are 10 easy summer meals to help keep your kitchen cool during these hot summer days!

We love stuffed peppers at our house, and this recipe for Slow Cooker Stuffed Peppers combines pizza AND stuffed peppers in the crockpot!   What’s not to love about this meal?!
