It’s hot outside and in our house, everyone is starting to get bored with summer. If it’s the same at your house too, I feel you! July 3rd
Uncle Sam Jam from 3 pm – 10:30 pm. This event is at Lafreniere Park and is free. There will be live music, booths, and much more, including fireworks at 9 pm.
July 4th
Go 4th of the River in the French Market District from 5:30-9:30 pm. Head to the Moonwalk across from Jackson Square and enjoy food trucks, live performances, music, and fireworks! You can also head over to Crescent Park to enjoy even more food trucks and fireworks!
July 5th
Kids Summer Movie Camp at the Prytania Theater Canal Place. The 1996 version of Space Jam will be shown at NOON. Tickets are $3 per person.
July 6th
YarNOLA Weekly Kids Craft Event from 4-7 pm. Kids can come try their weekly craft project or bring their own project to work on with guidance. Located at 5163 General Degaulle Dr, New Orleans. FREE
July 7th
Free Family Sunday at Longue Vue House and Gardens from 10 am – 5 pm. Louisiana residents can enjoy free admission to the 8-acre gardens, have a picnic under the oaks, or take a tour of the historic home for only $7.50 per person.

Sensory Superhero Skate Night from 4:30 – 6:30 pm at Airline Skate Center. Admission is $10 and includes two hours of skating, skate rental, fun photo ops, and activities. Lights and music levels will be appropriate for those with sensory needs. Tickets must be purchased in advance.
July 11th
Taylor Swift Skate Night at Airline Skate Center from 6-8 pm. Tickets are $13 per person and include two hours of skating, skate rental, photo ops, and a friendship bracelet party favor. Tickets must be purchased in advance.
July 12th
The Tulane Summer Lyric Theatre is performing Anything Goes at 7:30 pm at Dixon Hall. Tickets start at $31.50.
July 13th
Taylor Swift Laser Light Show at the Kenner Planetarium. Shows are every hour starting at 9 am with the last show at 9 pm. Tickets are $13 per person per showing.
July 14th
Sunday Funnies: Family Friendly Improve Show at the Big Couch (3400 St. Claude Ave, New Orleans) from 5-6:30 pm. Tickets are $8 for this family-friendly comedy show geared towards ages 8 and up.

Learn how to hoopdance and enjoy a performance with LED lighted hoops at the Lawson Library in Westwego from 2-3 pm.
July 18th
Sensory Friendly Playtime at the Louisiana Children’s Museum from 4:30 to 6:30 pm. Playtime experiences for kids with sensory-specific needs that allows them to explore the museum without the noise, crowds, and stimulation of typical open hours. Free with museum admission.
July 19th
Kids Table Cooking Class: Pizza and Ice Cream at Acorn Cafe at 5 pm. Tickets are $30 per child.
July 20th
Krewe of Muses Shoe Decorating Workshop from 1-3 pm at the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr Library. Children 9-18 can decorate a shoe with glitter and more. Registration is required.

Kitten Yoga at the Jefferson Parish East Bank Regional Library for ages 12 and up from 10-11:30 am.

JPAS Theatre Kids! presents High School Musical at 7:30 pm at the Jefferson Performing Arts Center. Tickets start at $58.
July 27th
Storybook Princess Brunch with Beauty and the Little Mermaid at The Court of Two Sisters from 10 am – 12 pm. Tickets are $50 for ages 13 and up and $35 for children ages 2-12 and include a two-course brunch, themed activity, meet and greet, games, and a sing-along.
July 28th
Teen Lock-In from 7 pm on July 27th – 7 am on July 28th at the Jefferson Parish East Bank Regional Library for ages 13-17. Games, movies, snacks, pizza, creator workshops, and more.

Myth Writing Workshop at the Jefferson Parish Regional Library from 5:30-7:30 pm. Children will discuss mythical creatures and write their own stories.
July 30th
Kitchen Kids at the Terrytown Library from 2-3 pm. Kids ages 3-10 can learn to make air fryer garlic bread with dipping sauce.
July 31st
Storytelling with Mama Saba at the Jefferson Parish East Bank Regional Library from 11 am – 12 pm. Children can listen to African and Louisiana folktales and music, and dance with mama Saba.
