“I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream”
I’ve had been seeing Sweet Cone Alabama pop up on Instagram. So one day when we still lived in Pensacola, while out running errands, my then 11-year-old was like, mom, we have to stop, and so we did!
If I only had one word to describe Sweet Cone Alabama, it would be ADORABLE!

Since you need a little convincing, let me show you why you have to make Sweet Cone Alabama your new ice cream spot.
All the Candy
Not only does Sweet Cone Alabama have ice cream, but they have ALL the candy. If you want it, they have it. Every flavor gummy bear, saltwater taffy, chocolate, chocolate, and more chocolate, fudge, giant peanut butter cups, turtles. I think you get the picture. They have ALL of the candy here.
Ice Cream
Of course, they have ice cream. They wouldn’t be an ice cream shop if they didn’t.
They have so many flavors to choose from. You may want to try them all. My personal favorite is the Brown Sugar Bourbon Truffle. My youngest likes a vanilla/cotton candy mix.
Ice cream comes in cups or cones, and you can get sundaes and shakes here too. Oh, and if you’re gluten-free like we are, all the flavors are labeled as such.
Coffee for Moms
Don’t want ice cream or candy? That’s ok. Sweet Cone Alabama also sells coffee. Perfect for that afternoon pick me up.
Fun for All
Our favorite part of our visit was how much fun the shop was.
They have a sprinkle pool that you can “swim in.” My daughter loved this! She would have played all day if I had let her
They also have a photo booth that is perfect for Instagram selfies. One booth even has SWINGS!
It was so much fun we didn’t want to leave.
About Sweet Cone Alabama
Sweet Cone Alabama is located at 5331 N Palafox St, Pensacola, FL. Right on the corner of Brent and Palafox next to Jimmie Johns and across the street from Pensacola Christian Academy.
They are open Sunday through Thursday from 11 am – 10 pm and Friday and Saturday from 11 am – 11 pm.
The costs are in line with similar ice cream shops. One scoop of ice cream was about $3.50. They also offer a loyalty card where you get a free scoop after 10 purchases.
So now you know why you need to make this your new ice cream shop. It’s perfect for a playdate, hanging out with friends, and an afterschool treat. And if you don’t have time to play, they have a drive-through.
