Disney Quick Service Restaurants

SIX WALT DISNEY WORLD QUICK SERVICE RESTAURANTS YOU NEED TO TRY

Our family LOVES Walt Disney World.

Having kids with food allergies and being gluten-free myself, Disney is the place where we can eat freely with little to no worries. This is the main reason we continue to go back time and time again.

We love finding new places to eat and foods to enjoy at Walt Disney World., However, we have our tried and true favorites where we have to eat each trip.

Here are six Quick Service Restaurants we LOVE at Walt Disney World and think you need to try on your next Walt Disney World trip!

Katsura Grill in Japan at Epcot

The California rolls at Katsura Grill at the Japan Pavilion in Epcot are amazing and the best I have ever tasted. It’s so good we normally end up here two or three times each trip just to at sushi. I’m not sure what makes the sushi at Katsura so good. Maybe it’s pixie dust. Maybe it’s the roe they add to the California Rolls we normally don’t get at home. Whatever it is, if you are a sushi fan, you have to stop here.

To complete your meal, I suggest hopping over to France for a Grey Goose Lemon Slushie. And for dessert, you can get shaved ice in Japan or a macaroon ice cream sandwich from L’Artisan des Glaces in France.

Woody’s Lunch Box at Toy Story Land

We tried Woody’s Lunchbox on our trip last May, and I’m now a HUGE fan.

Woody’s is one of the few Quick Service Restaurants inside the Disney Parks that serve breakfast.

One morning, we waited for our time to ride Toy Story Mania and ordered the gluten-free S’ mores French Toast sandwich. The sandwich is a wonderful mix of chocolate ganache and marshmallows. One word – AMAZING.

Have breakfast or lunch at Woody’s Lunch Box at Disney’s Hollywood Studios!

I’ve heard good things about the lunch and dinner offerings at Woody’s Lunch Box. Friends are raving about the Grilled Three Sandwich and the Lunch Box Tart. For mom and dad, try the Grown-Ups Lemonade. You won’t be disappointed.

Woody’s is outside with umbrellas for shade, so it does tend to get a little warm. That’s really the only downside to this great quick service location inside Disney’s Hollywood Studios Park.

Pinocchio Village Haus in Magic Kingdom

Magic Kingdom has a ton of good quick service locations to choose from. I don’t think I’ve ever had an awful meal anywhere I have eaten.

However, I do not have a favorite spot to grab a quick lunch while playing in the Magic Kingdom, and that is Pinocchio’s Village Haus in Fantasyland just across from Prince Charming Regal Carrousel.

On our last trip to Walt Disney World, we stopped here while waiting for FastPasses and grabbed the gluten-free chicken nugget meal. These were the best chicken nuggets I have had at Disney. Disney, if you are listening, please replace all your gluten free chicken nuggets with these! They were a mix between homemade and Chick Fil A and so good I was almost convinced they weren’t gluten-free.

With a view of It’s a Small World, and other yummy offerings such as pizza, pasta, chicken parmesan sandwiches, antipasto salad, and a Tangled Wall Eclair, it’s no wonder my friends call this their favorite quick service in the Magic Kingdom.

Flame Tree BBQ at Disney’s Animal Kingdom

I know everyone raves about Satu’li Canteen and Pizzafari at Animal Kingdom, but Flame Tree BBQ is hands down my favorite place to eat when visiting the park.

My favorite thing on the menu is the Ribs, Chicken, and Pulled Pork Sampler, but friends love the macaroni and cheese with pulled pork.

Seating is all outside, but don’t let that detour you from eating here. The seating areas are tucked away under trees and awnings, producing a ton of shade. And if you need a quiet place to stop and rest, Flame Tree BBQ is the place.

Flame Tree BBQ is located to the right on Discovery Island, right before you get to the walkway between Discovery Island and Dinoland. When you walk into the park, take a right at the Tree of Life, and you won’t miss it.

Sassagoula Floatworks and Food Company at Port Orleans French Quarter

We stayed at Port Orleans French Quarter and fell in love with the resort. It’s my favorite moderate resort on Walt Disney World property.

Not only is the resort great, but so is the food. Even if you’re from New Orleans, you don’t want to miss eating here at least once.

We ate most of our meals during our trip here. Sassagoula has pralines, hamburgers, po’boys, blackened steak, chicken, ribs, pizza, and more. You can find the Mickey Beignets next door at Scat Cat’s Club.

My favorites were the blacked steak and the gluten-free beignets (the only place I have only been able to find gluten-free beignets). The 11 yr old loved the gluten-free pizza, which I will admit was one of the best I’ve had on the property. My husband enjoyed most of the food, especially the jambalaya but said the shrimp po’boy was lacking. His favorite was the resorts special beignet burger. I found out they make this gluten-free, so it’s on my list for our next visit.

Everything we ate here was great, and I’m pretty sure the kids lived on beignets for the week we were there.

Cookes Of Dublin in Disney Springs

I was introduced to Cooke of Dublin in Disney Springs a few years ago. Everyone was raving about their gluten-free onion rings, and I just had to try them.

OMG, this was the stuff dreams were made of. They are the BEST onion rings ever. So light and fluffy and cooked to perfection. This is a must every visit to Walt Disney World.

On a recent trip, I enjoyed their hamburgers and the gluten-free fish and chips. Oh, and their gluten-free peanut butter chocolate chip cookie. Everything I’ve eaten here has been great, and it’s no wonder the place is always packed.

If you are shopping or playing in Disney Springs, head on over to Cookes, it’s right next to Raglan Road, which I hear is superb if you are looking for a table service restaurant. You won’t be disappointed.

Have you eaten at any of our favorites? What did you think? Where are your favorite places to eat at Walt Disney World?
