Ghost Manor
Located on the corner of Magazine Street and Second Street. Enjoy a ghostly show, including some special skeletal guests, at this haunted Victorian manor! Dates and times TBA.
Skeleton House New Orleans
Spooky scary skeletons come out to play every Halloween at this spooktacular house located at 6000 St Charles Ave.
Spooky Tours
Kid-friendly ghost tours are available all season long. Kids can tour the French Quarter, learn New Orleans’ History and hear some ghost stories about the city’s past inhabitants.
Trunk Or Treats
Kid-friendly trick-or-treating at local schools, businesses, and churches throughout the month of October. Full list coming soon!
Frankie’s Flying Monster Train
Saturday, October 14 – Tuesday, October 31, 2023. Take a ride on Frankie’s Flying Monster Train located at Lakeside Shopping Center Center Court. The train is open Monday – Thursday from 10 am – 7 pm, Friday and Saturday from 10 am – 8 pm, and Sunday from NOON – 6 pm. The cost is $2 (cash only).
Boo Bash
Saturday, October 14, 2023 from 10 – 11 am at The Hive on Woodland in Belle Chasse. Kids can wear a playground friendly costume, decorate a pumpkin, play on the indoor playground and more! Cost is $36 per child and includes 2 adults. This event is limited to 30 children. Purchase Tickets
Boo At the Zoo
Friday, October 20-Sunday, October 22, 2023, from 10 am – 5 pm. Celebrate Halloween at the Audubon Zoo with trick-or-treating, crafts, animal experiences, a Haunted House, a spooky spider maze, and more. Tickets are $10 for members and $38 for non-members and can be purchased here.
Boo Carre Halloween Haunt
Trick or treating, live music, kids activities, and more at the Boo Carre Halloween Haunt on Saturday, October 21, 2023, from 10 am – 4:00 pm in Dutch Alley in the French Market. Costumes encourage. FREE!
Monster Mash
Take a trip across the lake to Bogue Falaya Park on Saturday, October 21, 2023, for Monster Mash. There will be trick-or-treating, music, cookie decorating, crafts, carnival rides and so much more. Children’s tickets are $15 in advance and $20 at the gate. Adult tickets are $5 and children under 2 are free. There is also a special VIP option. Purchase tickets here.
Boo 2 U at Lafreniere Park
Saturday, October 21, 2023 from 11 am – 5 pm. Kids ages 1-10 can enjoy carousel rides, trick or treat, have their faces painted, play games, and more. The cost is $15 per child, $10 per adults. Wristbands are required.
There will be a trunk or treat afterward from 7 – 9 pm. The cost is $15 per child up to age 12.
Both events benefit the Dawn Busters Kiwanis. Tickets can be purchased at the gate or at www.dawnbusters.org.
Riverwalk Halloween Fest
Saturday, October 21, 2023 from 3-6 pm at the Riverwalk. Kids can trick or treat, have their faces painted, listen to a story, and watch live entertainment.
Krewe of Boo
Saturday, October 21, 2023, from 6:30 to 9 pm, the parade begins at Elysian Fields and ends in the Warehouse District. This is a fun parade for the entire family to get ready for Halloween. Parade Route
Halloween Spooktacular
Join the LPO on Sunday, October 22, 2023, at Roussel Hall, Loyola University, for a Halloween-themed family concert with the LPO performing classic works, excerpts from film scores, and even arrangements of Michael Jackson’s Thriller and Beat It with Guest Conductor Joshua Gersen. Doors open at 10 am with Musical Learning Stations starting at 1:15 pm, and the concert starts at 2 pm. Costumes encouraged! The cost is $15 per adult, and children under 15 are free. Halloween Kids Craft
Sunday, October 22, 2023, from 2 – 3 pm at Empty Nest Cafe and Bar. Children can make a candy treat and a Halloween craft. The cost is $12 per child. Advanced reservations are required. Call 504-455-7040 for more information.
Boo Fest
Saturday, October 28, 2023 from 10 am – 3 pm at Lakeview Regional Medical Center in Covington, Louisiana. Admission is $2 and includes trick or treating, games, entertainment and more. More Information
Longue Vue House and Garden’s Fall Fest
Saturday, October 28, 2023, from 2 -5 pm. There will be fall crafts, harvest games, trick or treating, and more. The cost is $10 for general admission and $5 for members. Purchase tickets here.
Malloween
Sunday, October 29, 2023, from 10 am – NOON at Lakeside Shopping Center. Family pass is $40 per family for up to five family members. Family pass includes – unlimited trick or treating, a ride on Frankie’s Flying Monster Train, a 5” x 7” Fall family photo, $10 food court voucher to either Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers or Cafe du Monde. JAMNOLA Presents Boo-Dat
Monday, October 30, 2023 from 4 – 7:30 pm (timed ticketing). Family friendly trick or treating with spook-ifed exhibits featuring Halloween-themed decor and a haunted musical playlist. Vintage Church Halloween Festival
